About

Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to learn about our programs, visit our social enterprises, register for events, volunteer, and give.

Our commitment

PossAbilities Plus exists to create endless possibilities for all abilities, and that includes our website. We want people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology to be able to use every part of this site.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more usable for people with disabilities.

Known limitations

Some parts of our site rely on services provided by other companies. We chose these tools carefully, but we don’t control their design or code:

  • Zeffy: donations, sponsorships, and event tickets
  • Google Calendar: our events calendar
  • SignUpGenius, Jotform, and Cheddar Up: volunteer sign-ups
  • resOS: Tearoom table reservations

Some older documents (PDFs) and videos may not yet be fully accessible. We are adding captions and converting documents to accessible formats.

If any of these gets in your way, please contact us and we will help you complete the task another way: by phone, by email, or in person.

Need help or found a problem?

We welcome your feedback. If you have trouble using any part of this website, or you need information in a different format, please contact us:

Please tell us which page you were on and what you were trying to do. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Other ways to take part

You can always make a donation, sponsor a student certification, sign up to volunteer, register for an event, or ask about our programs without using the website. Call 904-595-5381 during office hours: Mon–Sat · 10:00 AM–5:00 PM and we’ll take care of it with you.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is ongoing work. We review this website regularly, test it with automated tools, keyboard navigation, and screen readers, and fix the issues we find.
